ESTABLISHMENT
Guru Nanak Academy is an English
Medium co-educational school managed by Guru Nanak Sewa Scciety,
Opp. Hafed Complex, Ratia, District Fatehabad. This Society was
founded in December, 1999 in the sacred memory of the revered Guru
Nanak Dev Ji. It is spreaded in 3 1/2 Acres vast and open area in
a pollution free surrounding. It is running under the Haryana school
education rules, 2003 with (wide letter no.23/45-2003 dated 22-09-03),
Chandigarh.
The Academy promotes true education
amongest the children so that they could become good human being.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji Wanted to build the nation on the laudable values
of self realization, individual discipline, service to mankind and
universal brotherhood. Guru Nanak Dev Ji came to the rescue of suffering
people who had lost all hopes and optimism in their lives. He equipped
them with new ideas, aims and aspiration and exhorted them to dispense
with hypocrisy, falsehood presentation and caste pre-judices.
AIMS
AND OBJECTIVES: The
school aims at all round development of boys and girls physically,
emotionally and intellectually with consciousness of sociel obligation.
Indian Art Culture, Music and Hardcore of a finished, Languages
and Computer Literacy from the personality. The School will be raised
upto 10+2 standard and shall be our endeavour to prepare the children
for Engineering, Medical, Commerce and Institution of higher Learning.
ADMISSION
& REGISTRATION: Admission is open to all, irrespective
of a caste creed and religion. Admission Admission would be against
vacant seates only. For admission to Nursery a child must have completed
3 year for L. K. G., 4 Years and for higher classes a similar addition
of year. All candidates will be required to registered. Only Registered
candidates will be admitted to the school on basis of their performance
in the admission test.
INSTRUCTIONS
FOR ADMISSION: Application forms are available at
the academy counter from the ....2006. The application form dully
filled with passport size photograph of the child and his/her birth
certificate should be submitted to the academy office by ....../
2006. The students seeking admission to the academy shall have to
undergo a pre-entrance test to judge their suitability for admission
to a particullar class. Entrance test for various classes will be
held on .../.../2006.
COMPUTER
EDUCATION: All are aware of the importance
of computer in modern time. The School has a well-equipped computer
lab. Computer Education is imparted from 1st onwards. The school
is connect with Internet (World Wide Web). Computers for kids entertainment
are also installed.
MEDIUM
OF INSTRUCTION: The Medium of instruction is English.
The students will be expected to equire fluency through expressions
in English, Science, Commerce, Arts will be taught for professional
course. Hindi and Punjabi will be taught for professional course.
Hindi and Punjabi will be taught as additional languages, all the
pattern of the three languages formula of Kothari education education
commission adopted by Govt. of India. Curriculum includes English,
Maths, General Scince, Social Studies, Hindi, Punjabi, Music, Phy.
Edu., Evening Games, Divinity, General Knowledge, Arts and computer
science classes.
HOME
WORK: Students of primary classes do
their home work at the school under the supervision of teachers
and do not carry their heavy satchels to home and back.
HOSTEL
FACILITY: School has got a splendid hostel for the
students. Arrangements in the hostel are excellent and very well
care is taken for the all round development of the boarders. The
Mess in the hostel is superb and the food is of very high quqlity.Students
from far away places Chhittisgarh, Ajnala, Tarantaran, Ambala, Karnal,
Sirsa, Hisar, Mansa, Sunam & Tohana etc. are staying in hostel.
VISITING
HOURS IN THE SCHOOL HOSTEL: Parents are not
allowed to meet any boarder during the school time. Boarders may
be allowed to see their Guardian/ Parents only 2nd saturdey.
BOOKS
AND STATIONARY: Books and stationary
will be provided from academy.
SCHOOL
UNIFORM: The student must wear school uniform
in the school. Children must come in proper neat and clean uniform.
Shoes must be polished. Girls must not wear their jewellery or paint
their nails.

TIMINGS: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (In Summer)
& 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (In Winter)
| SCHOOL RULES AND
REGULATIONS: |
| Parents are not requisted to see their ward
who comes by his/her own conveyance must reach the school 10
minutes before the morning assembly. |
| 1. No Child will
be allowed to go home or to be taken home during school hours. |
| 2. Parents are
requisted to send the leave form duly filled and signed if the
leave is to be taken otherwise the child will be fined per day
of leave taken without application. |
| 3. Parents are
requested to come to school only 2nd saturday between 10:00
am to 12:00 pm. otherwise the school routine is disturbed. They
are requested to meet the class teachers only on the 2nd saturday
of the month. |
| 4. Student Personal
cleanliness is very essential and this includes: (a) Clean teeth
and eyes. (b) Neatly combed hair. (c) Well trimmed clean nails.
